The IB official online training successfully started

6月16日，IB顧問溫雅欣女士(Sally Wen，PYP Consultant)與華美外國語學校王滿英校長、IB-PYP協(xié)調(diào)員宋璇老師開展線上培訓活動。

On June 16th, Sally Wen, PYP Consultant, an IB consultant, conducted online training activities with Principal Wang Manying of Huamei Foreign Languages School and Teacher Song Xuan, coordinator of IB-PYP.

去年3月，華美外國語學校正式成為IB候選學校，成為羅湖區(qū)IB PYP授權候選學校。在IB官方的指導引領下，學校的培養(yǎng)目標、課程構建與開發(fā)、超學科主題下的單元探究等內(nèi)容日趨豐富與完善，形成體系化建設，為正式成為IB認證學校又向前邁進了一步。

Last March，Huamei foreign language school officially became a IB candidate school.

線上培訓活動伊始，王滿英校長向Sally介紹了學校的辦學理念，組織架構，小學開設PYP課程的基本情況等內(nèi)容。通過細致的溝通，Sally了解到學校的語言、數(shù)學、科學、社會、藝術、個人社交和體育學科采用的學習語言(中文/英文)，教師團隊的整體情況，教學教研活動的進程等。

At the beginning of the online training activities, Principal Wang Manying introduced to Sally the school's educational philosophy, organizational structure, and the basic situation of offering PYP courses in primary schools.

對此，Sally根據(jù)多年IB經(jīng)驗及學校的發(fā)展現(xiàn)狀，為學校下一階段的中外教協(xié)作備課、教案撰寫、政策解讀等規(guī)范化發(fā)展指明了方向。在問答環(huán)節(jié)中，王校長向Sally請教三個問題：提供向IB認證學校交流學習的機會，如何進行IBPYP資料整理，近期至今年10月份需要做好哪些準備。Sally表示，在IB官方網(wǎng)站上，可以查到中國有100多所可以互訪學習的學校，資料的整理收集需要一個過程，重在平時的積累。她要求老師們于10月份前學習完IB官方文件——超學科學習，學習者培養(yǎng)目標，探究，概念，評估，學習方法，國際情懷七大類別內(nèi)容，并于9月1日前完成**單元的協(xié)作備課。

Sally pointed out the direction for the standardized development of Chinese and foreign teachers in the next stage, such as lesson preparation, lesson plan writing, policy interpretation, etc., according to her years of IB experience and the development status of the school.

本次培訓，干貨十足，收獲滿滿。讓我們更好地了解IB 候選學校走向正式授權的實現(xiàn)路徑，明白了PYP學校的教學管理模式，開闊了我們的國際視野。

目前， IB課程 在全球擁有4000多所認證學校。課程體系旨在培養(yǎng)學生獨立探究精神、開放的思想、自我管理水平、公民服務意識、跨文化交流等多個方面。PYP小學項目將打破傳統(tǒng)分科制學習，采用先進的探索型學習模式，通過語言、社會學、數(shù)學、藝術、科學、個人教育及社會教育和體育等六大領域，開發(fā)學生的終身學習能力和求知探索精神的培養(yǎng)，也使學生在學科上的認知更加系統(tǒng)、更加全面。相信在IB顧問Sally的指導培訓下，在華美全體師生的共同努力下，學校定能早日成為IB認證學校。

At present, there are more than 4,000 certified schools in IB courses around the world.I believe that under the guidance and training of Sally, an IB consultant, and with the joint efforts of all the teachers and students in Huamei, the school will become an IB certified school as soon as possible.
